Adgitize Wisely!

How’s your Adgitize account doing? Earning lots these days? I’m hoping to get more than $14 per month so I see to it that I complete 100 clicks per day. As for forum posting, I’ve been inactive lately due to my busy schedule. Sad. I’m missing extra points.

What is your Adgitize routine? Mine is to publish a blog post and click 100 ads. Well, because I am an advertiser I have to click 50 ads only to score 100 click points. When I Adgitize, I don’t simply click on the ad blocks. I read blogs. And it helps a lots! Reading is Tech, so as they say. Sometimes I stumble upon showbiz blogs, health and wellness, business and technology, and beauty blogs. There are lots of articles to read and most of them are entertaining and really worth-reading. Product reviews are also posted everywhere so it is now easier to get feedback from product users. Products that are mostly reviewed includes makeups, gadgets and food supplements. I wonder if there are Lipozene reviews out there…

Anyway, hope you can visit my ads in the Adgitize Network. Are you familiar with this badge?

Impulsive Buyer

Yup, it’s the impulsive buyer! :)

The Ballygilbert Band

Could this be an FB viral post, too? After changing profile pictures into a cartoon character to support the child abuse campaign, what’s next? Facebook is really an effective social media and people within the network won’t run out of ideas. Be it just for fun or some serious business.

Here’s something that you can post on your wall. Tag your friends along. You might be the next top rock band. Haha!

Ballygilbert Body of Water

What to do:
1. Go to Wikipedia and click “Random Article”. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to Quotations Page and click “Random Quotes”. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3. Go to Flickr. Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use Photoshop or similar ( is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.
5. Post it with these steps/text in the “Caption” and tag the friends you want to join.

Have fun!

Job Alerts From Jobstreet and oDesk

job alerts

You've got mail!

I usually delete the job alerts from Jobstreet and oDesk. Not anymore. Now that I am about to leave my job, I am trying to look for jobs that interest me. As a matter of fact, I have updated my Jobstreet profile. But it does not mean that I’ll be leaving my TSR position for something else. I’ll have a long vacation first. Yay!

While I was checking for my job matches, I realized that some of them are not accurate. I’ve seen one healthcare job that’s supposed to be for nurses only. The other one is manager-trainee for food chain that will be opened soon. I can’t figure out where the gap lies so I just set up a secondary alert. Now I am receiving two job alerts each day. The first one is for IT-related positions and the second one is for publishing/editing roles.

Oh, if we are to add oDesk on the list that will make three job alerts each day. The thing is, oDesk is a web-based company and you can simply work from home. Sounds more convenient, right? You can try this online portal to earn extra income!

Hewlett Packard (HP) Customer Service

Have you ever wondered where I’ve been during those times that my blogs weren’t updated? Oh believe me, it sucks to live without a laptop. Exaggeration intended. What I mean is, it is real pain in the a$$ if you can’t go online and you have a lot of things to do in the world wide web.

Yeah, Chandler (my HP Compaq laptop) has been away from me for weeks because HP technicians were fixing it at the HP Service Center.

Missing Chandler...

Let me share you my HPerience…

SWORD Extends its Influence

You don’t have to be a “person of influence” to be influential. In fact, the most influential people in my life are probably not even aware of the things they’ve taught me. – Scott Adams

If people will ask me, “How long is your life?” I will definitely shrug and tell them, “I don’t know.” But if you are to ask me, “How far is your influence?”, I can definitely answer, “Great and afar!”.

Some may disagree, but I will insist. I am not conceited, just logical and coherent. I am not the best blogger out there but I am one of those who influenced. You might ask, HOW.

This blog was establish last December of last year with an intention of sharing insights and different reviews. As much as I don’t want to include personal stuff here, I can’t help it but post some from time to time. And I realized that it makes things effective. If you really want to influence other, a touch of personality can yield good result. Attach emotions. Invoke opinions. Highlight conversations. And yes, you can start a commotion just make sure that you can end it in a nice way.

Who are the people influenced by SWORD?
Family – This blog inspired me to continue be the best sister to my siblings and a good daughter to my parents. If a mother, or father, or any family member is to read this blog, for sure they can find ideals that will strengthen the “family ties” that has been there ever since we were born into a Filipino family.

Friends – I consider this blog more powerful than my Facebook wall. Updates here are more consistent compared to FB and my real friends appreciate me for talking a lot so I am channeling the unspoken words into writings. As a matter of fact, I was able to convince a friend of mine to start blogging because of this.

AcquaintancesRandom bloggers may come and go to this sweet home of mine. With their reinforcing comments and notable remarks, I know that somehow, they were able to find something precious around.

I have been passionate in blogging about ongoing campaigns too and I think that is the best thing about SWORD, spreading the word and letting the world know about the most important happening, sharing what I have and lending a helping hand. Most of all, encouraging everyone that TOGETHER, we can make a difference.

SWORD has received positive reviews from different bloggers in the blogosphere. Whether they are forced or not, I still appreciate the linky love. The latest one is from Yuuki:

My pen is this SWORD!

Thanks sis! Thanks to Arwin of Winziph as well for considering this blog influential and nominating me as one of the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2010.

No one needs to please me to make me happy. As long as I am appreciated, I can go on with my life. Even if not, I won’t bug you for that.

People always say that the PEN is mightier than the SWORD. Let me tell you then: My mightiest PEN is this SWORD!

I will greatly appreciate those who will answer this question: Am I able to influence you? How?
