I’m soooo loving this month!
First, it started with the happiest new year! Then a blessed birthday followed by our sweet monthsary!
It’s really nice to celebrate things!
Especially if there are lots of food…
Triple chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream were simply the best!

love them!
What’s more to look forward to?
Well, it would be the Dark Ascension prerelease later and I am so excited about it! Gotta get cool new cards! The best part of it is that we’ll be playing for free since I’ve won PR passes from the previous weekend MTG tournament.
So, that’s it for now! I have to prep up and leave shortly.
No matter how tired you are, if you are happy, you won’t really mind. I just wanted to share that I really feel fulfilled each time I accomplished lots of things. And yesterday was one of those fulfilling days!
After having a good sleep and prepping up for a while, my boyfriend and I went to SM Centerpoint to meet up with Kuya ST for the MTG cards. It was supposed to be quick and smooth but we ended up with a long and entertaining conversation. Haha. Why not? We were discussing some Magic: The Gathering stuff – strategies, latest craze and what not. Kuya ST and Babu were having a serious talk. Kidding!
While listening to the two guys who were busy exchanging ideas, I saw MJ passed by so I called him out. Lol. He was my officemate and its been a while since I last saw him. After exchanging some belated greetings, he headed to where he was supposed to be going.
When we finally wrapped up things with Kuya ST, we headed to SM Department store to buy gifts for the kids – Lucian and Selphie. Thanks goodness! We didn’t spend much time in shopping. We’ve found the ideal gifts for them! McQueen for Lucian and Hello Kitty for Selphie. Easy!
We were late for the kiddie program at Lucian’s Lightning Mcqueen themed party. It’s just for the kids, anyway. Lol. We still made it for early dinner.
Once there were only few visitors left, we had the time to bond with Rei & KC’s family. Lucian just turned four and he’s still cute and polite. Such a nice kid.
We had another round of spaghetti plus coffee before we left.
Happy day!

You won't be forgotten...
The great advantage of having nothing is that everything becomes a gain.
Losing everything is at the same time the scariest, as well as the most liberating experience you can have. When you have something, – anything, you’ve got to protect it from disappearing. And so worry becomes a resident in your heart. When you’ve got nothing, your heart overflows with gratitude for every offering you receive.
And just when I was contemplating about our recent loss – the death of my boyfriend’s mom whom I’ve learned to call “Mommy” (for she was like a second mom to me), I remember the above-mentioned facts. Indeed, I’m very blessed.
Thank you Mommy… and may you rest in eternal peace.
While cleaning up my room I stumbled upon an old issue of Cosmpolitan and after flipping some pages, I’ve found “BudgetNBalance” a valuable read. So let me share the 10 Get-Rich Tips I’ve (re)learned from the article:
1. Don’t be too flashy and frivolous, instead, be prudent with money. Develop good habits and be ready for success.
2. Know your limit and priorities. Balance things out.
3. Determine your goal and work hard to achieve it. Be with passionate people to be more inspired.
4. Invest and be grateful.
Real wealth is living in gratitude; gratitude begins in trusting God in all things.
- Jon Bender, In God We Trust
5. Keep moving forward. Greatest strength and inspiration are sometimes developed from failure.
6. Find inspiration in random things.
7. Take calculated risks.
8. Make your money grow and avoid unnecessary expenses.
9. Do something that you really love and you’ll definitely find great fulfillment.
10. Learn from other people – seek advice and recognize your shortcoming.
The “last 30 days” is finally over. I’m officially off from work.
This is it! Time to face a brand new world. Success, here I come! Ooops, of course I’m ready to face the challenges that may arise…

It's over!
I’m still in mixed emotions and deep thoughts right now. So happy yet a little bit sad. OMG! I might not be able to compose a decent blog post if I’ll remain emotional. *sigh*
I might post another farewell speech later. I’ve just sent a quick “log out” message yesterday to thank everyone!
I hope they will find time to read “Who Move My Cheese” and learn from that story. It’s a nice book!
