Triple Birthday Treat

Rei (bf’s close friend, our barkada) just had his advanced birthday celebration last March 10, 2012. But yesterday, they had another exclusive celebration with us. It’s more of a double date – Rei & KC with Babu (my bf) & me at Yumemiya Japanese Cafe, Northest Square Greenhills.

It was a high-class and cozy Japanese resto. We enjoyed our food and I really loved the Fried Prawn Bowl. Seafood sensation! More of yummy pics will be posting on www.couplestrip.com. Raven may write the restaurant review for me. Lol.

Liz and Babu at Yumemiya

After being full at Yumemiya, we headed to Happy Lemon! It was my first time there, same as Babu. KC suggested to try Cocoa with Rocksalt and Cheese. And I had to regrets upon taking the first sip! No straw needed to fully enjoy the layer of cheese. I super love it! Babu’s pick was Oreo Cookies and Cream Coffee. When I tasted it, I preferred mine over his choice. Haha.

Before going to Rei’s place, we had a quick stop over at New Manila’s holy tree. It’s a good place in the city where you can learn some teachings of Buddhism, appreciate a brand new experience and know more about the universal truth. Marcus handed Rei a birthday gift (which turned out to be a Buddy statue) then he gave each of us a booklet about “A Life of Blessings”.

I just had a triple first-timer experience in a day and it was great especially that I’m with my boyfriend when it happened. Lol.

Craving for Malibu Coke

I’m so happy that my friend (Ice) finally gave me the ~~formula~~ ingredients for my most requested mix! Malibu, I’ll come and get you this weekend!

Malibu goes well with Coke in 1:2 mix

Per shot glass:

1/3 Malibu Rum

2/3 Coke

Mix it on your own preference. If you want more alcohol, increase the amount of rhum! So far, Malibu Coke is my favorite drink. I’ve discovered it in Baguio. Thanks to Kuya Hai for this wonderful mix! Smells like butterscotch and tastes like honey! Heavenly sweet!

Akyat Pinatubo Pre-Event Briefing

I said NO to my date just to attend this pre-event briefing at R.O.X (Bonifacio High Street, Taguig) with bestie Rhonz. So as of this writing, I still have to make it up with boyfie especially that I’ll be stealing another Saturday of our weekend this coming June 4.

So, what happened during the pre-event briefing?

Then prizes, prizes, prizes! Yeah, won 3 times! First, I’ve got a pair of Havaianas for being the second registrant! Being an early bird always pays off, right? Grabbing the image from Impulsive Buyer:

More prizes from two rounds of raffle! Everyone is a WINNER. I was not able to take pics of all the prizes I received but it’s more than an ordinary loot bag. The bloggers and the prizes made our stay really worthwhile, what more during the actual event?

R.O.X. - View from Starbucks

Right after the briefing, Rhonz and I checked some sports items at ROX. Then we headed to Starbucks, The Fort for another soul sister’s bonding moments. We had a great time already at Sbarro before attending this orientation. Thanks Rhonz for the Venti Chocolate Cream Chip Frappe!
