I Am Inspired to Help!

“The youth is the hope of our future.”
-Jose Rizal
After supporting Stacey Avenue’s Run for Free College Education, here I am again to promote quality education. Well, sort of. It is more of extending help to schoolchildren who have been victims of Typhoon Ondoy but the same idea is still there. We distributed bags and school kits to all students of Betty Go Belmonte Elementary School. I joined Outreach Committee long ago and I am still proactively doing my part. This time, we made it possible by dedicating our time and effort in the said activity.

Yes, it may be tiring but at the end of the day it is still fulfilling!

SWORD For A Better World In 2010

First of all, I wanna greet you a Happy New Year and I wish you all the best this 2010. I would like SWORD to have a very meaningful start for this year so to celebrate its 2010 kick-off, I am now supporting Stacey Avenue’sIsang Araw Lang: Takbo Para sa Libreng Kolehiyo” (Just One Day: Run For Free College Education) Campaign.

I am an advocate of quality education and I am a happy and proud graduate of BSU (Batangas State University). I am a product of several scholarships during my college years namely Meralco Foundation Inc, Batangas Province Scholarship Program, and University Scholarship and I really appreciate all those financial support. Being the eldest in the family of six children I feel responsible for my own education when my parents can no longer support my studies after my high school graduation. I really want to pursue Chemical Engineering but for some valid reason, I ended up with Bachelor of Industrial Technology. Not bad, I graduated cum laude anyway. So what’s the moral of the story?

Well, I just think that it really pays to be poor in such a way that I aspire more. I study hard and well to maintain good grades and for me to reach my dreams. Right now, I can’t fully say that I am that successful. Yes, I have a stable job but I have yet more dreams to accomplish. I am supporting the studies of my siblings because like what I’ve said, I am an advocate of quality education. I’m playing the role of my parents in great hope that just like me, my siblings can take their dreams closer to reality.

You, too can be the answer to other people’s prayers and can take great part in helping them to realize their dreams.

Join the biggest fun run event called “Isang Araw Lang: Takbo Para sa Libreng Kolehiyo” (Just One Day: Run For Free College Education) – a fun run/marathon event that will grant Free College Education (which means free tuition fees, free books, free uniforms, and free meals) to Filipino students who want to study but cannot afford to do so. Mark your calendar on January 17, 2010 and see you at SM Mall of Asia, Philippines.

Post for a cause. Let us all spread the word!

It’s always fulfilling to see the fruit of your works. Act now!
