Keith Haring’s Street Art on Google Doodle

Google search page has another interesting Google Doodle on it:

Keith Haring Street Art

I thought the’yre just simple body movement or something like that but after clicking it and checking the search result page, I’ve learned that it’s about Keith Haring’s art. He was a graffiti artist who’s fond of simple but meaningful drawings.

His first recognized pieces of pop art were the chalk drawings in the subways of New York. His artwork highlights bold lines, vivid colors and active figures. He was widely known for the “The Radiant Baby” symbol during that time.

In 1990, Haring died at the age of 31 due to some AIDS-related complications. But his awareness about his disease gave way to a much noble act of establishing the Keith Haring Foundation in 1989 which aims to provide funding and imagery to AIDS organizations and children’s programs like Kinderstern.
