Google Doodle commemorates Howard Carter’s 138th birthday. The image on Google homepage shows his collection and discoveries as an English archaeologist and Egyptologist. During his time, he leads the excavation and discovery of the tomb of 14th-century BC pharaoh Tutankhamun. It was marked on the World History and one of the things that made him sensational. Indeed, he discovered lots of “wonderful things” at the tomb including the sarcophagus of Tutankhamun after opening the sealed doorway
In March 2, 1939, Carter died at the age of 64 due to lymphoma (a type of cancer).
